Managed hosting questions
Clear responsibilities before launch
The exact platform, backup terms, monitoring, restoration process, and support boundaries belong in the approved proposal.
What does managed hosting include?
The approved plan can include hosting and SSL, routine platform and security maintenance, managed backups and recovery support, uptime monitoring, technical troubleshooting, basic form and critical-function monitoring, and support for the website components Site at Work delivered. The exact environment and responsibilities are documented in the proposal.
What does the hosting company handle?
The hosting company operates the server platform and its included infrastructure. Site at Work adds website-level monitoring, backup and recovery planning, troubleshooting, and coordination for the components included in the agreement.
Are content changes included with managed hosting?
Not automatically. Content and image updates, new portfolio projects, additional pages, search and conversion reviews, Google Business Profile assistance, and continued improvements are optional website-care services.
Can Site at Work host a website it did not build?
It may be possible after a technical review. Site at Work must first confirm the software, access, update requirements, risks, and support boundaries before accepting responsibility for an existing website.
